We are writing to inform you about an upcoming deletion of one or more videos hosted on our platform and present in your account. In conformity with our Terms and Conditions and to limit the environmental impact of online services, we periodically proceed with deletion of so-called inactive videos, i.e. videos that have not been accessed during at least 12 preceding months.
At present, your account contains one or more videos that meet the criteria of an inactive video.
Key Points of the video deletion process: | | 1. User notification: The present email is an official notification of the launch of the deletion process. 2. Video archive: 3 months from the date of this email, your content will be considered inactive and will be archived for 3 months. You will no longer see the inactive videos within your account, but a copy of each of them will continue to exist in our systems. While your content is archived, you still have the possibility to re-enable your content by contacting the Dailymotion Support Team.
3. Permanent video deletion: 6 months from the date of this email, your inactive video(s) will be permanently deleted from our systems with no possibility to restore them. If you do not wish your video(s) to be deleted, please access them, i.e. watch them as an end user of the Dailymotion service. We remind you that Dailymotion is a content hosting platform and not a content storage service.
You are responsible for maintaining copies of any video you place on our service. Consequently, even after the deletion of your inactive videos, you may decide to upload them again on our service.
