Как запоминать слова, которые похоже произносятся, но по-разному пишутся? (dew vs due)

Hello, Людмила. Берём пару слов, в которых путаемся.  Например: dew [dju:] и due [dju:] . В общем «дью». Первое слово dew [dju:] — роса . Пишется, как русское слово «ДЕВушка». Придумываем ассоциацию, но, прописывая слово, проговариваем правильно [dju:]. Итак: ДЕВушка пьёт росу и умывается ей. Она очень прекрасна по этой причине. Второе слово due [dju:] — должный, обязанный (по соглашению, по договору) . Оно похоже по звучанию, но пишется по-другому и имеет другой перевод. Его запоминаем так: составляем с ним предложение и заодно запоминаем эту конструкцию. He is due to speak at the meeting . — Он должен выступить на собрании. Можно зрительно запомнить как пишется, но чтобы не путаться в написании, если это ваша проблема, придумывайте образы: по договору я всегда Должна выступать в ДУЭте (due — похоже на дуэт).  Придумать в дуэте с кем.
